THE SPARK
Built from the Ground Up, Driven by Passion
and Expertise
ProEng was founded in 2012 by Jason Alexander and Michal Lachowicz, two seasoned engineers with a shared vision: to create an Ottawa-based engineering firm that delivered innovative, high-quality solutions. Drawing on years of collaboration at a previous employer, they combined their complementary skills, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence to bring this vision to life.

What began as a two-person operation soon grew organically. Over the years, ProEng expanded its team and expertise, completing projects across diverse industries. With every step, the firm stayed true to its roots—offering innovative solutions while building trust and lasting relationships with clients.
Since 2018, ProEng has continued to grow its impact throughout Ottawa. By consistently exceeding expectations, the company has strengthened its reputation for quality and innovation. As we reflect on this journey, we’re excited to continue building a brighter future together.
